I have liked what I have seen so far. I live at the Findhorn Foundation a Spiritual Community/ Ecovillage in the East Coast of Scotland . THe Community has been here for many years I think 44 years. We run courses, workshops and events on a variety of topics mostly to do with Spiritual and personal growth, ecology, arts, and the Game of Transformation. It is a very rich life living here, a constant test of spiritual practice learning to live in a close knit community, where everyone is there to mirror my shadow to help me learn to love all parts of myself and indeed learning to be compassionate, caring and tolerant.
We have 4 windmills that produce more energy than we need so we sell the surplus to the national grid. We also have a sewage processing plant called the living machine as the sewage is processed by bacteria as the sewage passes by different tanks what comes out at the other end is near drinking quality water. It is quite remarkable.
There are about 120 people who live and work within the Findhorn Foundation and another 500 or so that live in the surrounding area and are in many ways connected to the community. I start my new job as Programme Liaison and Development person in the next week or so. 
It is a privilege and a challenge to live in community  I am very happy here, and have been since I came 10 years ago.
Inevitably my spiritual practice revolves around my individual practice of daily meditation and community living, keeping my relationships “clean”, staying true to my goals, and working together to make things here work. I consider  myself very lucky to live here and have all the opportunities this life gives me to continue to expand my awareness and transform my consciousness.
I have two daughters one lives in the US,. the other in Spain, and now I have a gorgeous little spanish grandaugher.
I  am not sure what I can contribute to this online community but I hope I find a way to do that.
